KYL Announces Children’s Department Weekly Schedules for September | News, Sports, Jobs


WEBSTER CITY — The Kendall Young Library in Webster City will host weekly storytelling and activity programs for all ages throughout the month of September.

NEW — Tales Around the Town – Kendall Young Library and local Webster City businesses will be offering Tales Around the Town. Each week, families are invited to gather at a designated location, listen to a story and learn about the host location. September is full of excitement as we launch this new program. No registration is required. Just follow the signs and join in the fun.

September 9 — Kendall Young Park, Prairie Stone Shelter, 5 p.m. bring your own picnic, 5:30 p.m. story time.

September 16 — Webster City Highway Department, 100 E. Ohio St., 5:30 p.m.

September 23 — Kendall Young Library, 5:30 p.m.

September 30 — Webster City Area Chamber of Commerce, 628 Second Street, 5:30 p.m.

Wild Things (Pre-K-2nd grade) will meet on Tuesdays from 3:45-5pm in September. This time, a variety of stories and activities will be offered each week. Join us for all the adventures.

Fuzzy Ducklings (under 3) will meet on Wednesday mornings from 10:30am to 11:30am in September. This parent/child experience is fun for all.

The Tween’s Time program (grades 3-5) will meet on Thursdays from 3:45-5 p.m. in September. They will learn about crafts, STEM, cooking and more.

Early Out Movies (Grades 8-12) – Youth are invited on September 18 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to watch “Migration.” Popcorn will be provided.
