Tennessee Titans QB Will Levis reveals his biggest improvement

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis showed his abilities as a rookie last season, but now he’s ready to step up a gear as the 2024 campaign begins.

The Titans will visit the Chicago Bears at Solider Field on Sunday, which will be a solid season-opening test for Levis and the Tennessee offense. Titans fans will be eager to see the team debut offseason additions like Tony Pollard, L’Jarius Sneed, Quandre Diggs and more, but it’s Levis’ growth that arguably remains the most intriguing thing to watch.

During his post-practice media availability on Wednesday, Levis spoke about his progress and revealed where he thinks he has improved the most.

“I just trust what I see,” Levis said. “And I think that’s one of the things I’ve gotten the most improved at, just playing ball and doing the right thing over and over again. And just knowing that as long as you continue to make the right decisions, you’re going to continue to put your team in the best position to be successful. … I feel ready and I can’t wait to show it.”

Levis started against the New Orleans Saints in the final preseason game and led two scoring drives to build a 10-0 lead, while looking impressive. He struggled with interceptions during training camp, but it’s clear that had little impact in the preseason.

He played in two of Tennessee’s three preseason games, finishing 11-of-13 passing for 153 yards, no touchdowns, and no interceptions. He also added a one-yard rushing touchdown in the preseason-opening win over the San Francisco 49ers on August 10.

In nine games (including nine starts) as a rookie last season, Levis completed 149 of 255 passes for 1,808 yards and eight touchdowns against four interceptions.

The Titans and Bears kick off Sunday at 1 p.m. ET.
