Congratulations to Kim Cox, a 1976 UI graduate from El Cajon, Calif., for her near-perfect prediction of the Illinois-Kansas game. Kim scored 23 points for Illinois and 19 for Kansas, just two points off the actual score. I can’t believe the Jayhawks had scored a safety late in the game. Kim would have eaten free Papa Del’s.

She still has a chance. If no one hits the numbers on the button this season, I’ll go with whoever comes closest. Two points, that’s going to be hard to beat. Someone’s going to get pizza this season.

I hope Kin will participate again this week. And everyone else for that matter.
