Rebel Ridge: New crime thriller is the most-watched film on Netflix

“Rebel Ridge” is currently the most popular movie on Netflix, according to the platform’s public rating system.

The new crime thriller premiered on September 6 to mostly favorable reviews. English actor Aaron Pierre plays a former Marine who travels to a small town to bail out his cousin but finds himself entangled in a web of corruption within the local police force.

“Rebel Ridge” also stars Don Johnson, AnnaSophia Robb, David Denman and James Cromwell.

The most popular movie on Hulu right now is “Cash Out,” an action film that enjoyed a limited theatrical release in April.

John Travolta stars in this film about a professional heist gone wrong and becoming personal. The cast also includes Kristin Davis, Lukas Haas and Quavo.

“The Killer” premiered on Peacock on August 23 to mixed reviews. Directed by John Woo, the action thriller is a remake of his 1989 film of the same name about a professional assassin.

Nathalie Emmanuel plays the lead role alongside Omar Sy, Sam Worthington, Diana Silvers and Saïd Taghmaoui.

After the release of the new sequel earlier this month, “Beetlejuice” is Max’s most popular movie.

The 1988 dark fantasy comedy tells a tale of mischievous ghosts and family ties. “Beetlejuice” was directed by Tim Burton and stars Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Jeffrey Jones, Catherine O’Hara, Winona Ryder and Michael Keaton.
