Konami and Bloober have teased the Silent Hill 2 Remakes are multiplying as its October 2024 debut draws nearer, and the latest one involves a screenshot of Pyramid Head. This one doesn’t show any recreation of the classic cutscene or gameplay, but instead offers a glimpse of the entity from behind.

Very little context was offered for the new Silent Hill 2 Screenshot of Pyramid Head. Konami has only stated that this is a “rear shot” of the character. Due to the lighting, it’s hard to see many details. However, we can see the back of the creature’s distinctive head, notice that the apron he’s wearing doesn’t cover his back, and see that he’s still carrying his iconic knife.

Here’s the new “back shot” screenshot of Pyramid Head, as well as a previously released screenshot that shows the Silent Hill 2 remake the bad guy face to face.

Pyramid Head has become an iconic figure for Konami. He has appeared in other games, such as Dead by daylightThere are also many figures of him. The most recent is a Nendoroid, which is scheduled to be released worldwide in 2025. A life-size static figure Pop Up Parade has also appeared.

Silent Hill 2 will be released on October 8, 2024 on PS5 and Windows PC.
