Chandler burglary investigation prompts massive police response

PHOENIX (AZ family) — An apparent burglary investigation prompted a major police response to a Chandler neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

Details are currently limited, but Chandler police told Arizona’s Family that multiple suspects have been arrested after an active investigation “related to a burglary” near Dobson and Ray roads.

Video taken by a drone from Arizona’s Family showed a heavy police presence and several armored vehicles in the area linked to the incident.

Police officials confirmed that surrounding schools have been placed on modified lockdown as a precaution.

Additionally, there are traffic restrictions in the area and drivers are advised to avoid Pennington Drive south of Gila Lane.
