Leave it to Megan Thee Stallion to take charge of the body-ody-ody fashion awards show.

The rapper, 29, hosted the 2024 VMAs on Wednesday night, changing outfits several times throughout the event.

To kick off the red carpet, the “Savage” artist arrived in an elaborate black strapless gown that was slightly sheer and form-fitting at the top and had a bit of extra fabric at the bottom.

Created by Nicole + Felicia, the eye-catching design made Megan’s dress appear to be falling off.

Lorraine Schwartz earrings, rings and bracelets added an extra touch of sparkle.

Taking the stage shortly after, Megan paid a patriotic tribute to Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, kicking off the official show in a red, white and blue one-shoulder leotard adorned with sequined stars and showcasing her curves.

Megan praised the athlete, who grew up in a Houston suburb just like the “WAP” rapper.

However, this look was short-lived.

Megan quickly changed things up, paying homage to VMAs legend Britney Spears by recreating the costume the pop star wore during her iconic 2001 VMAs performance of “I’m a Slave 4 U.”

The show’s host opted to wear a similar green bra and layered micro shorts, and even carried a live yellow snake for a full retro effect. However, she was visibly uncomfortable, calling for someone to help her take care of the reptile.

The quick changes happened, of course, with Megan wearing a red corset dress with a skirt that resembled a suit jacket and later performing in a barely-there yellow bikini, pairing the tiny ensemble with boots and thick laces that went up her legs.

After her “Gladiator”-inspired Pepsi commercial aired, Megan took the stage wearing a blue and gold Roman-style bra paired with a pleated skirt, gold cape, high-top gladiator sandals and armor-inspired accessories.

The look was her second nod to Spears, the pop princess who appeared in the original Pepsi Gladiator ad alongside Beyoncé and Pink in the early 2000s.

Megan closed the night in a completely sheer and shimmering black dress reminiscent of the jumpsuit in Britney’s “Toxic” music video.

As for her glam side, the hit artist initially opted for a short, sleek bob, but eventually ditched the addition of straight bangs mid-show. She then sported an afro during her performance and finished the night with long, loose curls.

A constant element of Megan’s look was her glamour, as she sported dramatic lashes and glossy brown lips throughout the show.

Her signature long nails couldn’t be missed either, as the light pink manicure stood out against her outfits.

She may have won two Moon Person trophies, but we’d add one more for Best Style.
