Juan Soto earns win for Yankees, then sends message in postgame interview

NEW YORK – Juan Soto loves to hit, and he loves to end a game with a hit. He did it for the first time in a Yankees pinstripe Thursday night with a 10th-inning double that allowed ghost runner Jon Berti to score from second base for a 2-1 victory over the Red Sox.

Soto also had a lot of fun being mobbed by everyone on the field, even if he got a little roughed up by being in the middle of it all. Getting doused with a cooler full of red Gatorade and ice during an on-field interview was cold but fun too.
