Man questioned over woman’s murder – FBC News

The man who allegedly assaulted a woman to death at Albert Lee Place, off Nailuva Road in Raiwaqa, on Monday afternoon has been arrested.

Police confirm that the man was arrested last night by the Southern Division police team and is currently being questioned.

According to police, following an autopsy, the case was classified as murder.

Police had earlier said that initial information gathered indicated that the woman and her partner had had a violent argument during which the suspect allegedly took an object and injured the victim, leading to her death.

Police say another woman who was staying with the couple told her partner about the incident, prompting a report.
