Christmas Fairs Are Starting Soon in the Attleboro Area. Here’s What to Expect | Communities

Fall is just around the corner, and so are the many fall and holiday fairs that draw legions of people looking for a good deal, a delicious meal, and just plain camaraderie.

The following list of holiday fairs is a combination of submissions from the Attleboro Area Interfaith Collaborative and other churches and nonprofit organizations.

SEPTEMBER Sunday September 22

10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., St. Mary’s Mansfield Parish, 330 Pratt St., Mansfield. September Festival. Fun and food.

Saturday September 28

5:30 p.m., Seekonk Congregational Church, UCC, 600 Fall River Ave., Seekonk. Chili Cook-Off and Dessert Auction. Bring your favorite chili recipe to share, the favorite will be chosen. Contact Pat Smith, 401-429-8696, to participate in the cooking contest. Call Evelyn Watkins, 401-608-2490, to learn more about the silent auction of delicious desserts. You can call Evelyn at. Tickets $5. Everyone is welcome.

OCTOBER Saturday October 5

2 p.m., Seekonk Congregational Church, UCC, 600 Fall River Ave., Seekonk. Garage sale, table rental for $30. Coffee, juice, doughnuts and muffins will be sold. Call 508-336-9355 to reserve a table or for more information.

NOVEMBER Friday and Saturday, November 1st and 2nd

Friday 4-8pm, Saturday 9-3pm. Rehoboth Congregational Church & Golf Hall, 139 Bay State Rd, Rehoboth. Christmas in the Village. Turkey dinner Friday night at 6pm. Reservations required, make them at www.rehobothcongregational.org. Lunch Saturday 11:30am-2pm, homemade hot and cold sandwiches, desserts, no reservations required. At church, Unique Boutique; Mrs. Claus’ Closet, Woodcrafters. Silent auction. Crafts and children’s boutique. Christmas wreath raffle. At Goff Hall, Bake Shoppe & Food Fair Market, Cookie Walk.

Sunday November 3rd

8:30am-2pm, St. Mary Norton Church, 1 Power St. Annual Christmas Bazaar, homemade breakfast and lunch, pictures with Santa in a winter wonderland, kids’ area, children’s and family auctions, gift baskets, local crafts, cookies by the pound, Christmas table, Santa’s surprise game.

Friday and Saturday, November 8 and 9

Friday 3-7 p.m., Saturday 7-3 p.m. St. Martha Parish, 227 South St., Plainville. Holiday fair, crafts, basket and cash raffles, raffle calendar with daily prizes, Grandma’s Attic, baked goods and takeout

Friday 4-7 p.m., Saturday 9-1 p.m. Centennial United Methodist Church, 15 Sanford St., Attleboro. Christmas on the Corner, giant raffle, country store, takeout, vintage Christmas items, Your-Choice Cookie Walk, fudge and candy, jewelry, thrift store, local vendors. Chicken Pot Pie Dinner Friday starting at 4:30 p.m. Dine-in or takeout, $15. Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Notre-Dame-Reine-des-Martyrs, 385 Central Ave., Seekonk. Annual holiday fair, food, raffles, baked goods, baskets. Café open for food and drinks both days.

5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. St. Therese of the Child Jesus Church, 18 Baltic St., South Attleboro. Annual fair, bakery, hand knits/crocheted goods, holiday shop, Grandma’s attic, Grandpa’s tool shed, used books and jewelry, and country store. Gambling, raffles. Homemade French meat pies and hamburgers, soups, salads, fries, and desserts 5:30-8 p.m. Friday, 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday. Santa and Mrs. Claus both days.

Friday 4-8 p.m., Saturday 9-2 p.m. First Congregational Church of North Attleboro (Oldtown), 675 Old Post Rd., North Attleboro. Oldtown Holiday Fair, handmade crafts, plants and natural objects, treasure table. Soup and baked goods. “Not So Silent Auction,” raffle baskets. Bids accepted Friday and Saturday, ending Saturday at 2:15 p.m.

11am-7pm Friday, 9am-3pm Saturday. Murray Church, 505 North Main St., Attelboro. Holiday fair, bakery with 600 dozen cookies, sweet breads. Christmas boutique, Grandma’s attic, Almost Antiques, book room, crafts and more, Santa’s toy room, craft vendors. Gourmet Guys dinner Friday, lunch Saturday. Thrift store.

Saturday November 9th

11-7, Plainville United Methodist Church, 17 E Bacon St., Plainville. Annual country fair, antiques and collectibles, handmade knits and jewelry, books, handmade blankets, baked goods.

9-2, Second Congregational Church of Attleboro, 50 Park St., Attelboro. Holiday fair, crafts and grandma’s attic with books, toys and used Christmas decorations, plants, jewelry and silent auction tables, homemade pickles, jellies, etc., fresh and frozen meals to go. Light breakfast and lunch with homemade beef and barley soup, variety of desserts, pre-baked or frozen apple pies. Come join the fun!

9-2, Memorial Baptist Church, 340 Central Ave., Seekonk. Annual Christmas Bazaar, unique gifts from local artisans.

10-4, St. Mary’s Foxboro, 58 Carpenter St. Christmas Fair, handmade items featuring Boston sports teams, baby gifts, kitchen items, Christmas and home decor. “Just for Kids” games, cookie decorating, giveaways. Large raffle with $500 cash prize, more. Candy table, jewelry shop and religious items table. Café open for lunch and snacks. Online silent auction open for bidding Nov. 2-9. 8-2. First Baptist Church of Attleboro, 118 South Main St., Attleboro. Home for the holidays, fall through Christmas. Baked goods, candy, jams, more. Artisan shop, crafts and artwork. Jewelry, books, vintage treasures, thrifted items. Coffee and refreshments. Cash, Venmo, credit cards accepted.

Friday and Saturday, November 15 and 16

5-8 p.m. Friday, 9-2 p.m. Saturday. Norton Trinitarian Congregational Church, 2 Pine St., Norton. Homemade takeout, baked goods, hand-knitted and crafted items, flea market, cookie walk, raffle items. Spaghetti dinner 5-7 p.m. Friday; homemade pancake breakfast Saturday morning, lunch menu in the afternoon. Fun family activities Saturday. Santa. 9-2, Central Congregational Church, 115 Commonwealth Ave., Attleboro Falls. Village Green Fair, cookies by the dozen, takeout, jewelry, hand-knits, Christmas tables and homemade baked goods.

9-2, Original Wrentham Congregational Church, 1 East St., Wrentham. Christmas Tree Church Fair, decorated and themed Christmas trees, large and small. Vendors selling crafts, plants, gifts, books, jewelry, baked goods, crafts and sewing, Christmas decorations, etc. Attic Treasures, silent auction. Brunch served all day. Children’s area with games, crafts and Santa.

9-1. The Anderson House, 15 Fourth St., Attleboro. Annual fall fair. Local artisans, crafters and vendors. Raffles for unique gift baskets.

8-2. Arnold Mills United Methodist Church, 690 Nate Whipple Highway, Cumberland. Christmas Fair. The café will serve muffins and pastries from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Homemade items include stained glass candies, friendship soup mix, fudge, baked beans, apple pies, assorted baked goods and cookies. Handmade crafts include knitted items, Christmas decorations and ornaments, teacher gifts, pet supplies, stocking stuffers. Also, Timeless Treasures Room, garden shop, silent auction, reading nook. Friday and Saturday, November 22 and 23

Friday 4-7pm, Saturday 9-2pm. Trinity Episcopal Church of Wrentham’s annual holiday fair. Social raffle with penny prizes, books, crafts, baked goods, white elephant, jewelry, baked lasagna and apple crisp. Cafe will serve dinner Friday, breakfast and lunch Saturday. Saturday November 23

9-3, North Attleboro Historical Society, 362 North Washington St., North Attleboro. Christmas fair, bakery, raffle items, gift baskets, knitting and handmade items, decor, wine wheel, vintage items and more. This year’s theme: Some of My Favorite Things, featuring items from society members and collections. At Garrison, the traditional Thanksgiving turkey roasts over an open fire while docents in period clothing lead guests through the decorated home. Check Facebook for updates.

11-4, Mansfield Congregational Church. Holly Fair, Bakery Table, Congo Cookie Walk, Raffle Baskets, Crafts, New to You Table, Jewelry/Handbag Corner, Yard Sale.

Friday and Saturday, November 29 and 30

Transfiguration of the Lord Parish at St. Mary’s, 14 Park St., North Attleboro. Festival of Trees from 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9-2 p.m. Saturday (church upstairs). Christmas Fair (downstairs). Themed trees are raffled off. The downstairs fair will feature traditional wreaths, arrangements, centerpieces, cemetery baskets, hand-knitted and sewn items, handmade crafts, basket raffle, wine wheel, jewelry, display table, meat pies, baked goods, silent auction, candy, fudge. Breakfast and lunch served.

DECEMBER Saturday December 7

9-3, First Baptist Church North Attelboro, 75 Park St. Christmas on the Common, baked goods, preserves and candy, Cookie Corner, knitted items for all ages, handmade crafts, novelties and Christmas decorations, jewelry, antiques and collectibles, Grandpa’s Attic. Lunch or takeout.

9-2, Seekonk Conggregational Church, 600 Fall River Ave. Christmas Basaar & Gift Shop, handmade crafts, knits, decorations, jewelry, living wreaths, centerpieces, more. 10-3, Oldtown Church, 675 Old Post Rd., North Attleboro. Winter arts and crafts fair, handmade gifts, crafts created by local artisans. Raffle, light lunch. Rain or shine.

10-3, Attleboro High Cheerleading Booster Club hosts a craft/vendor fair at AHS, 1 Blue Pride Way. 70-90 vendors offer decorations, homemade crafts, signs, quilts, wreaths, pet treats, paintings, jewelry, sweet treats, etc. Concession stand and kids craft table. Admission is $1
