Three additional suspects arrested for harassing state trooper in Wappingers Falls

Police said three additional men were arrested for harassing a state trooper who was stopping a crashed motorcyclist in Wappingers Falls.

The incident began on September 9 when the officer responded to reports of people riding dirt bikes and motorcycles erratically near Village Hall.

Authorities say John Horton, 26, of Connecticut, stole a hat from the police car and incited a group of about 40 bikers to begin harassing him.

According to police, he was arrested on charges of assault, tampering with evidence and conspiracy.

The three new suspects arrested in connection with the incident have been identified as Steven Hasbrouck, 29, of Middletown, Naquan Eubanks, 26, of Poughkeepsie, and Nicholas Johnson, 25, of Beacon.
