Man kills 1, insults 2 before killing self on Jackson Street

ALEXANDRIA, La. (KALB) – A man shot at three people at a business on Jackson Street before turning his gun on himself on the evening of Sept. 13, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

APD said around 7:30 pm, this unidentified man entered his business in the 3400 block of Jackson Street and opened fire on three related people before then killing himself. One of the victims was killed while the other two were taken to a hospital in critical condition.

APD confirmed the incident was domestic-related.
