Tragic drowning during immersion of Ganesh idol leaves three dead

In a tragic incident on Sunday, three people, including a father and son, lost their lives during a Ganesh idol immersion ceremony at Ranganahatti lake near Marasandra village in Turuvekere taluk.

The victims have been identified as Revanna Sharah and Dayanand, local police confirmed. The incident took place within the jurisdiction of Dandinashivara police station.

Police and firefighters quickly arrived at the scene after receiving the report. Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy are currently ongoing.
