Cameras caught Titans coach Brian Callahan insulting Will Levis after a brutal turnover

Will Levis has done it again.

On Sunday, the Tennessee Titans quarterback committed another embarrassing turnover, this time in the red zone.

The second-year quarterback was facing the New York Jets’ 6-yard line and made a play no one saw coming. Levis dropped back and was pressured, so he stepped forward, looked around and saw running back Tyjae Spears to his left behind the line of scrimmage. As Levis was being tackled, he essentially rolled the ball toward Spears. It was innovative. And it failed spectacularly.

Jets linebacker Quincy Williams recovered the ball and prevented the Titans from extending their lead to 7-0.

As Levis left the field, he received a shout-out from head coach Brian Callahan, who asked his young signal-caller a profane question:

Yes, I would say that is a legitimate question.

What was Levis doing? How did he think it would work? It was the dumbest play we’ve seen in the young season. The funniest? A Levis interception from Week 1 previously held the top spot.

We’ll see if he can do better than that.
