Somy Ali recalls Salman climbing pipes to reach her and Sangeeta catching them red-handed in a room

Somy said that at that time, she was living in Vindyachal and Salman used to come and meet her in her room through the window by climbing into the pipes. Somy said that she found it very romantic. She added that at that time, Salman was dating Sangeeta and even their wedding cards were ready. In Somy’s words:

“I was living in Vindyachal at that time. Salman used to climb the pipes and come to my room through the window. I found this act of Salman quite romantic. It was a two-bedroom flat. However, I remember one day he came around 10:30 am when this incident happened. He was still seeing Sangeeta at that time and in fact, their wedding cards had also been printed.”

In the interview, Somy Ali narrated how Salman was caught red-handed. The actress revealed that one day, Salman came to her room to meet her. The ex-couple was chatting among themselves in her room when Sangeeta slammed the door and confronted Salman, asking him to make a choice. Somy said that Salman asked her for 10 minutes and she thought he would break up with her and marry Sangeeta since the wedding cards were ready. But on the contrary, Salman came back after 10 minutes and told Somy that he had broken up with Sangeeta. Stating that she felt it was her destiny, Somy revealed:

“Salman and I were sitting in my room talking when Sangeeta suddenly came in. She looked at Salman and said, ‘It’s over. You have to make a choice.’ Salman told me, ‘Somy, I’ll be back in 10 minutes.’ I assumed he was going to marry Sangeeta since the wedding cards had already been printed. But he came back to the room and told me that he had broken up with Sangeeta and wanted to be with me. I felt like it was destiny.”

In the same interview, Somy Ali mentioned that when she was shooting for her first film with Salman Khan, it was eventually dropped, but she showed a picture to the actor, claiming that she had come to India only to marry him. Somy said that Salman told her that he had a girlfriend, and she replied that it was the actor and her destiny to be together. Calling herself an idiot, Somy said:

“When we were doing our first film together, which ended up being scrapped, I showed him a picture and told him I was in India to marry him and had no interest in acting. He laughed and said he already had a girlfriend. I told him, ‘It doesn’t matter, we’re going to be together. Our destiny is inevitable, you just have to watch.’ That’s my dream of the Creator. But I was a stupid kid who left Florida to come to India for Salman. Who does that?”
