Cassie’s Husband Rejected Diddy Who Tried To Reconnect With His Girlfriend

Sean “Diddy” Combs was recently accused of abusing his ex-girlfriend Cassie. Cassie ended up in a much less tumultuous relationship with a partner she eventually married. So when Diddy briefly re-entered the singer’s life, Cassie’s boyfriend-turned-husband made it very subtle that he wasn’t welcome.

How Alex Fine Intercepted Diddy’s Message to Cassie

Diddy and Cassie were together for a long time before the true nature of their relationship was revealed. In the public eye, their romance was on and off from 2011 to 2018. The real cause of their breakup was not revealed at the time.

However, TMZ once reported that Diddy felt betrayed after Cassie allegedly cheated on him with the fitness trainer she would eventually marry. What made the betrayal even deeper was that it was the same fitness trainer Diddy was paying to help Cassie stay in shape. Although Cassie’s own sources have denied that this is true, claiming that she and her trainer only started dating after she became single.

Cassie and fitness trainer Alex Fine developed a quick but powerful spark. A few months after her breakup with Diddy, she announced her relationship with Fine to the world via Instagram. The couple would tie the knot a year later on August 28, 2019.

In June of that year, Cassie announced again on social media that she and Fine were expecting a child. Following the announcement, Diddy took to Instagram to congratulate her and Fine on their future family. But Fine told Diddy what he thought of the post by liking a follower’s Instagram post that called out the music mogul.

“Diddy really tried to steal your moment with your photo,” the commenter told Fine. “I think people can now see who he really is. He has no place in the future you both have built, you are clearly a man with heart, integrity and the right values. I wish you all the best,” the message read, according to Bossip.

It’s easy to see why some thought Diddy’s message had ulterior motives. The CEO has seemingly had a hard time letting go of Cassie in the past. Not long ago, it was reported that Diddy blew up Kid Cudi’s car just because he had a brief relationship with Cassie in 2011. He also referenced his feelings about the breakup in the song “Gotta Move On.”

“You found a new man, so I gotta move on. I guess you got a new agenda, with someone you barely know. I won’t say you’re wrong. I guess you had to move on,” Diddy said in one of the lyrics.

What Alex Fine Said About Diddy’s Abuse of Cassie

Like many others, Fine got a glimpse into Cassie’s relationship with Diddy after surveillance footage showed Diddy assaulting the artist at a hotel. Fine wrote a passionate response to the footage on Instagram.

“Men who enable violence and protect these people are not men,” Fine wrote, according to HuffPost. “As men, violence against women should not be inevitable, look out for your brothers, your friends and your family. Our daughters, our sisters, our mothers and our wives should feel protected and loved.”

“Have the utmost respect for the women in your life,” he added. “Men who hurt women hate them. To all survivors, find the men and women who help you and love you. To all survivors, your stories are real and people believe you…you are not alone.”

Sources have claimed that Cassie’s new family life with Fine is much simpler and calmer than what she experienced with Diddy.

“They’ve made a little life for themselves outside of all the Hollywood stuff,” a source told People.

It has been noted that Cassie doesn’t voluntarily go to as many red carpets as she used to. These days, she is focusing on her role as a mom.

“They are very involved parents. She is a very, very good mother. They moved very quickly when they met and quickly became very serious,” the source added.
