Real Madrid’s stars have always emphasised the good relationship between the players in their attacking line, and it would be unfair to speculate otherwise. However, in the heat of the moment, it can sometimes be difficult to hide one’s true emotions.

That’s what the cameras could see on Kylian Mbappé, who is very concerned about his image off the pitch and the way he uses his voice. On the pitch, he remains a striker who always has goals in mind. Several players expressed surprise when Endrick Felipe took the shot that led to his first goal in the Champions League, with Vinicius Junior and Mbappé as options for the pass.

One of them even went so far as to say that he would have “killed” him if the ball had not gone in, between bursts of laughter. At the time, Mbappe seemed to find Endrick’s decision less than comical. As the ball went in, Mbappe still had his arms raised to berate Endrick for his poor pass, and as he went to celebrate with his teammates, it was an unamused expression that he wore.

That would of course be too much to ask in return, but it is certainly a demonstration of Mbappe’s unwavering ambition to succeed at the Santiago Bernabeu.
