Amarillo Tri-State Exposition Announces New ,000 Scholarship

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Amarillo Tri-State Exposition today announced a new $25,000 Ambassador Scholarship for the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo as part of the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo’s Celebration of Education theme day.

The scholarship is open to high school freshmen from the top 26 counties in the Panhandle.

The recipient will be selected in the spring of their junior year and will serve as an ambassador for the Amarillo Tri-State Exposition during their senior year. They will participate in community events, gain leadership skills and be involved in the production of the Tri-State Fair & Rodeo.

After completing the internship, the student will receive a $25,000 scholarship.

“We are committed to empowering the next generation of leaders through education,” said Brady Ragland, CEO of the Amarillo Tri-State Exposition. “This new scholarship not only supports students financially, but also helps them become ambassadors for their community and our mission.”

Since 2004, the Amarillo Tri-State Exposition has awarded nearly $500,000 in scholarships to 474 students across the Panhandle.

The scholarship increases the Amarillo Tri-State Exposition’s annual giving to nearly $100,000 per year.
