Growing Airline Announces Nonstop Flights from North Carolina

ASHEVILLE, NC (FOX Carolina) – Asheville Regional Airport (AVL) announced Saturday morning that Delta Airlines will begin nonstop service to Boston next spring.

AVL said nonstop service to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) will begin May 10, 2025, and will be available on Saturdays and Sundays.

In the announcement, the airport also said that all flights will operate on Embraer ERJ-175 aircraft, with a 70-seat dual-class service configuration.

AVL said that with the addition of BOS, Delta now serves four nonstop markets: Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), New York/LaGuardia (LGA) and Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP).

“Boston is a popular destination for travelers in our region, and conversely, Asheville is a popular destination for Bostonians,” said Lew Bleiweis, president and CEO of AVL. “I thank Delta for its decades-long commitment to our region, and this addition to its flight offering is very exciting.”
