Video: Snake spotted inside Garib Rath express train from Jabalpur to Mumbai, passengers panic

Panic broke out on board the Garib Rath express train from Jabalpur to Mumbai after a snake was found in one of its air-conditioned carriages. In a video that went viral on social media, the snake could be seen spiralling on the handle of the upper carriage of the train.

As soon as the passengers came to know about the snake, panic spread in the train and they informed the railway officials.

The snake was spotted on the upper berth (23) of G3 coach while the train was running from Jabalpur to Mumbai. The train staff responded quickly to handle the situation and ensure the safety of the passengers.

After spotting the snake, the passengers were shifted to another coach. Later, the affected coach was detached and the train was sent back to Jabalpur.

Western Central Railway’s public relations officer Harshit Srivastava said the incident has been noticed and will be investigated. He stressed that passenger safety is a top priority and the railway company takes such matters seriously.
