Jayden Daniels sent a special message to his mother and father after the Commanders’ victory

Commanders rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels put on a show Monday night, leading Washington to a 38-33 victory over Joe Burrow and the Bengals in Cincinnati. The No. 2 overall pick in April’s draft threw for 254 yards and two touchdowns, including a huge one late in the fourth quarter that sealed the win.

Daniels had control of the game all night and it looks like the Commanders have a special player at center. Not only did he make some great passes, but he also led the team in rushing with 39 yards and ran for a touchdown.

After the game, he praised his parents for setting him up to succeed in key moments, saying: “I’m just a testament to the way I was raised. I thank my mom and dad for instilling that in me.”
