Tipperary athlete Sharlene Mawdsley shines in bikini as she takes well-earned break

Tipperary athlete Sharlene Mawdsley is enjoying a well-earned break after a long season which included a fourth-place finish in an Olympic final in Paris.

The Newport AC athlete has posted several photos of his “holibops”.

Mawdsley, of Newport in Tipperarycompeted in several races at the Olympics this year, including the women’s 4x400m relay, which saw Ireland finish an incredible fourth.

Just after her Olympic success, Sharlene said the Olympic experience was very “up and down”, adding “when you come back you’re a little hungry – you don’t want to go on any more”.

The 26-year-old had previously said she would take a six to eight week break once the season ended earlier this month, during which she would do “nothing”.
