The fans assure Jelly roll that the success he’s currently enjoying is “well deserved” after the country music star shared a career update on Saturday, September 28.

The “Save Me” singer recorded his emotional message while on his way to Saturday evening livewhere he helped the show open its 50th season as a musical guest. Jelly Roll was heading to New York’s Rockefeller Center from Central Park, where he had just performed at the Global Citizen Live Festival. The night before, the Grammy-nominated artist performed his first-ever sold-out show at Madison Square Garden.

Jelly Roll was reflecting on his busy career debut weekend when he decided to share his stunned reaction to it all with his fans. “I don’t usually broadcast this kind of craziness when this happens, but this is the craziest it’s ever been,” he said, his eyes bright with emotion. He recapped his “crazy” sold-out show and described playing in “the famous Central Park” as “crazy” and “unreal.”

“But listen: now I’m getting a police escort through Manhattan to get to Saturday evening livebaby!” he said with an excited cry. “What’s going on in my life right now, y’all.”

In the caption of the Jelly Roll video, which he shared on Instagram, he attributed his success to his fans. “You all gave me this life,” he wrote. “Thank you, thank you, thank you.”

“It’s not earned, it’s not given,” one fan told the “Wild Ones” singer, while another agreed, writing, “You earned it, man 🫡.”
