Man killed in suspected hit-and-run in Stockbridge

STOCKBRIDGE, Mass. (WWLP) – One person is dead after a suspected hit-and-run in Stockbridge Saturday morning.

According to the Berkshire District Attorney’s Office, emergency crews were called to Route 102 around 7 a.m. Saturday after a report of an unconscious man on the side of the road. He was pronounced dead shortly after his discovery by first responders.

Based on the evidence collected, it appears to have been a hit and run. First responders determined the victim was riding an electric scooter when he was struck by a vehicle.
