Harris Teeter Announces Free Water and Ice Distribution in Boone, Asheville Community

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Harris Teeter is providing free bottled water and ice to residents of Boone and Asheville following the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene.

The free distribution begins at 10 a.m. on Monday, September 30 at the following locations:

• Shops at Shadowline – 240 Shadowline Drive, Boone, NC

• Chestnut Street Village – 136 Merrimon Avenue, Asheville, North Carolina

Distribution will continue until stocks last. Community members will receive a 24-pack of water bottles and bags of ice, limited to two per household.
