Police respond to fight between students on school bus in Springville

Police responded to a fight on a school bus in Springville Wednesday afternoon.

The Springville Police Department said the altercation took place between two students who were getting on the bus.

Police said officers arrived at the bus located on Ville Springs Road and began to investigate.

Police said no other students on the bus were involved or injured and the St. Clair County School Board was called and informed of the incident.

Principals and school board members met with police at the scene of the incident. The Springville Police Department works closely with Mr. Justin Burns and Mr. Talton as well as the principals of the Springville school system.

The incident happened after school hours and not at any school.
