Royal Norwegian Police under investigation after complaints from four different victims | Royal | News

Crown Princess Mette-Marit’s son Marius Borg Høiby is under investigation after complaints were made by four different victims, according to new reports.

Se og Hør reports that there are four plaintiffs in a currently active case against 27-year-old Høiby.

The report suggests that this is a charge that arose after an incident at an apartment in Frogner, Oslo, on August 4. The charges include alleged reckless behavior and violation of a restraining order, as well as another case of causing bodily harm.

Høiby is also accused of abuse against two close friends, his ex-girlfriend Juliane Snekkestad, 29, and Nora Haukland, 27. He is also charged with alleged threats against a fourth person.

Crown Princess Mette-Marit, 51, and Crown Prince Haakon, 51, have remained silent about the incident. They explicitly stated that they would not comment on the matter, despite pressure on the couple to comment.

Reports suggest that it is not a coincidence that his military service in northern Norway was recently extended from 12 to 15 months, but rather something that the family asked for, according to Se og Hør.

The latest update comes as Skaugum, the Norwegian royal residence, was broken into last month.

The burglary took place after Høiby threw a “wild” party at the palace.

Reports indicate that members of a known motorcycle gang stole private items of both high crown value and personal value to the royal family.

In a video shared online, an unidentified person filmed himself riding a segway through Princess Mette-Marit and Prince Haakon’s private apartment, which was ransacked with items strewn across the floor.

Valuable silverware was also allegedly stolen, which the thieves attempted to resell via an auction house.

The Royal House of Norway has been contacted for comment.
