Las Vegas police investigate murder-suicide in East Valley

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police are investigating a murder-suicide in the East Valley.

Police said the incident happened Monday evening around 9:39 p.m. in the 3700 block of North Nellis Boulevard, near North Las Vegas Boulevard.

Arriving officers would find a man and an elderly woman suffering from gunshot wounds. The doctor arrived and pronounced both dead at the scene.

Police believe the man shot the woman, then turned the gun on himself.

The identification of both individuals, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
