Harvard law professor spots two particularly ‘breathtaking’ details in new Trump dossier

Harvard constitutional law professor Laurence Tribe described experiencing not one but several “wow” moments while reading a recently unsealed court filing from special counsel Jack Smith’s office that offers evidence of Donald Trump’s alleged efforts to overturn his 2020 electoral defeat.

“I said ‘Wow’ about 25 times while quickly reading this document,” Tribe told CNN’s Erin Burnett on Wednesday.

“I bet I’ll meet 25 more,” he added.

Tribe said there was “a lot of jaw-dropping stuff” in the filing.

Like the “so what?” » by Trump. in response to the news that his vice president, Mike Pence, had been expelled from the Senate during the US Capitol riot on January 6, 2021 and to Trump’s comment to those close to him: “It doesn’t matter if you won or lost the election, you still have to fight like hell.

“This is just a sample. This is the tip of a horribly large and scary iceberg,” Tribe said.

Earlier in the interview, Tribe said the case presented a “mountain of evidence” that was “overwhelming” and that Smith “had the goods, he had the receipts.”
