Fabrizio Romano reveals the truth behind PSG and Real Madrid’s interest in Arsenal star

Last month, CaughtOffside reported that Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are among the clubs interested in Arsenal defender William Saliba.

Additionally, the report states that the Premier League side would only consider offers of at least €120 million or more. This year, the Parisians are taking steps to rejuvenate the central defender position with the arrival of Lucas Beraldo and Willian Pacho. With

With Marquinhos in his 30s, Lucas Hernandez coming off a serious injury and Milan Skriniar not part of the club’s long-term plans, there is a need for new talent.

PSG targets young talents who have yet to reach their full potential, and Saliba, whose contract with the Gunners expires in 2027, fits that mold. Still, don’t expect the Premier League side to sell the player as transfer expert Fabrizio shuts down Saliba rumors.

“Even though William Saliba will always be valued because of his immense talent, there is nothing in a rumor that Paris Saint-Germain could make a significant offer for his services at this stage, to be honest,” Romano wrote in his daily briefing column for CaughtOffside. “There was no action from PSG, no proposal, no talks.

“Saliba is a crucial player for Arsenal so I don’t think Saliba can consider anything anytime soon. He’s very happy at Arsenal and there’s nothing common at any club – no idea where they’re coming from these PSG stories.

It will be interesting to see if PSG look for another central defender next year, whether in January or in the summer.
