The developers of Silent Hill 2 Remake say they have infused the iconic horror game’s puzzles with “new ideas” and added “new challenges tied to the game’s story.”

Silent Hill 2 Remake studio Bloober Team has talked about walking a tightrope between honoring an iconic game with a faithful remake and bringing something new to the table, particularly when it comes to puzzles.

In a new post from Bloober Team’s official Twitter account, a video shows one of the game’s many puzzles in action, with the following caption: “In #SILENTHILL2, we set out to recreate the game’s iconic puzzles, while still infusing some of their own with new ideas and adding new challenges tied to the game’s story.”
