Sarasota County announces new crisis cleaning hotline

SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A Hurricane Helene Cleanup Hotline has been set up to help connect residents affected by Hurricane Helene with volunteers who can help.

The hotline can be reached by phone at 844-965-1386 or online at http://crisiscleanup.org

The hotline connects Sarasota County residents with volunteers from local humanitarian organizations, community groups and faith communities. These groups may be able to help with clearing, trees, tarps and debris.

All services are free, but service is not guaranteed due to the huge need.

This hotline is expected to remain open until Friday, October 11.
