Bronny James’ NBA debut has already brought the haters out in force

The Los Angeles Lakers began the preseason portion of their schedule Friday night. Now what makes this so special? Well, that was the debut of Bronny James. James saw his first NBA action and the haters were ready to display their disdain.

Ever since it was announced that James had been selected by the Lakers in the 2024 NBA Draft, the kid has been closely scrutinized. Sure, having a father who is one of the greatest players of all time may have helped get this opportunity, but you’re lying to yourself if you think you wouldn’t do the same.

It wasn’t the ideal start for James, as he finished with two points on 1-of-6 shooting. This shooting performance brought the haters out in full force.

Young James knew it would be an uphill battle; However, if the hate crowd is out before the end of the first preseason game, the hill will look more like Mount Everest. Not that his father doesn’t deal with this on a daily basis, but it seems like Bronny’s doubters are ready to attack at any time, even from their grandmother’s basement.
