3 suspects charged in Crystal Rogers murder case to be tried in Warren County

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) – A location for the trial of the three men charged in connection to the 2015 murder and disappearance of Crystal Rogers has been set in Warren County, Kentucky.

That’s according to documents dated Monday from the Nelson County Circuit Court.

Brooks William Houck, Steven Eugene Lawson, and his son Joseph L. Lawson have appeared in court throughout this investigation. The father-son duo were in court on Friday, where the future trial location was down to Warren County or Christian County.

Houck is being charged for her disappearance and presumed murder and Steven and Joseph Lawson are being charged with complicity to murder and tampering with evidence.
