Vogue Profiles Hoboken Family Brownstone, Storm Inspired Decor

Vogue featured a Hoboken family’s transformed 1901 brownstone, with a design inspired by an urban storm.

HOBOKEN, NJ — With a second child on the way, a Hoboken couple recently decided to renovate their 1901 brownstone, and it caught the attention of Vogue.

This month, the magazine published photos of the updates. The magazine says: “Taking inspiration from the heightened drama and electric energy of an urban storm,” designer Crystal Sinclair Design fused deep, dramatic colors with softer cloud shades.

Sinclair specifies on his Instagram page that the decor is “inspired by an urban storm”, without further details. Hoboken has experienced several epic nor’easters and tropical storms in recent years, including recently (photos here).
