Free pancake breakfast offered in the valley

Free pancake breakfast offered in the valley

Editor:

Many of you have seen and supported the American Legion’s “Be the One” initiative to raise awareness of veteran suicide. Here in Uinta County, we view the problem as a community problem. We know that veterans are not the only ones at risk.

We would like to thank you all for your support of this initiative and would like to invite everyone to join us at Fort Bridger American Legion Post 36, for a free pancake breakfast in recognition of our area’s first responders. This is our opportunity – and yours – to let them know how much they are appreciated.

On June 1, breakfast will be served from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. There will also be a “Be the One” walk from the post house to the fort at 10am. A program with mental health staff will follow at 11:30 a.m., back at the post office.

Join us in letting these men and women know how much they mean to all of us.

Pete Roitz

Commander
