JLo’s new cocktail range was inspired by Ben Affleck’s astrological chart

Spritz season is officially here, and one celebrity who definitely got the memo is Jennifer Lopez. JLo just announced the launch of Delola, a new line of low-calorie bottled spritzes.

Ideal for entertaining in warm weather, Delola cocktails are gluten-free and available in three flavors: Bella Berry Spritz, Paloma Rosa Spritz and L’orange Spritz. The Bella Berry has a vodka base, the Paloma Rosa uses tequila, and the Orange contains amaro.

JLo said People that the name Delola was inspired by her nickname, Lola. The 53-year-old artist revealed that “how we came up with the name Delola was really the carefree, fun side of who I am.”

The product line has been in the works for two years. And when it came time to launch, Lopez made sure not to skimp on customization and flavor. The spritzes use natural botanicals and are the product of a collaboration with world-renowned mixologist Lynnette Marrero.

As for personalization, in addition to the name Delola after JLo, there is also an ode to the Leo zodiac sign on the Delola bottles. “Bennifer” fans probably know all too well that Leo is the zodiac sign of Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck.

“I’m a Lion. On the bottle I put two lions – Ben and I are both Lions – like a male lion and a female lion,” Lopez said while speaking with People. “It’s very personalized, really authentic to me and what I love.”
