Crash destroys traffic lights at busy NE Bend intersection of highway. 20-27, a four-man stoppage awaiting repairs

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) – Crash at busy intersection of U.S. Highways 20 and 27^th A northeast Bend street damaged the signal box, destroying the traffic light and bringing it to a four-way stop until repairs were completed.

The accident was reported around 1:20 p.m.

In a traffic alert around 2:45 p.m., ODOT said crews were on scene, working to restore signal power, but “expect delays” and “avoid the area if possible.”
