Woman hit by SUV on Chicago beach after group hits vehicle | VIDEO

A woman was struck by an SUV in North Avenue Beach Thursday after a group hit the vehicle, Chicago police said. Everything was filmed.

CHICAGO (WLS) — Cell phone video captured a frightening confrontation on North Avenue Beach.

Chicago police said two groups were arguing around 3:40 p.m. Thursday in the 1600 block of North DuSable Lake Shore Drive when some of them began hitting a black SUV.

The unknown driver of the vehicle then hit an 18-year-old woman before fleeing.

She was taken to hospital in good condition.

No one was in custody.

The police are continuing their investigation.
