The Wanda Diamond League announces the calendar and distribution of disciplines for the 2025 season

The 2025 Wanda Diamond League will begin in April in Xiamen, China.

After wrapping up another record-breaking season in Brussels last month, fans and athletes can now begin their preparations for the upcoming Wanda Diamond League campaign. The calendar and distribution of disciplines for the 2025 season are now published and can be viewed on the Wanda Diamond League website.

As in previous years, the Wanda Diamond League 2025 will see the world’s biggest stars compete across four different continents in 14 of the sport’s most prestigious one-day encounters, with the most successful qualification to the final of two days of the Wanda Diamond League in Zurich.

The road to the final will begin in Xiamen on April 26 and will remain in China for the second meeting of the season in Shanghai/Suzhou on May 3. The series will then head to Doha and Rabat before the first European meeting of the year in Rome on June 6.

After stops in Oslo, Stockholm and Paris, the road to the final will then head to Eugene, Monaco and London in July before entering the final stretch in August. After meetings in Silesia, Lausanne and Brussels, the Diamond League Final will return to Zurich for the first time since 2022 on August 27 and 28.

Each discipline will be featured between four and seven times en route to the final, giving athletes from around the world and the full diversity of athletics the chance to qualify. The 32 Wanda Diamond League champions will then be crowned in the series finale at Weltklasse Zurich, with both the iconic Diamond Trophy and record prize money on the line.

With the 2025 World Athletics Championships in Tokyo taking place in September, the Wanda Diamond League will also provide the ideal preparation ground for the year’s major world championships.
