Fedez’s alleged involvement in Milan nightclub incident under investigation

According to qualified sources, on Saturday, the singer Fedez was summoned as part of the Milan investigation into the activities of the ultras on the southern curve of San Siro. As reported by Ansa, despite the summons for interrogation, the meeting with investigators did not take place after an agreement between the Public Ministry and the artist’s lawyers. It is not yet known whether the interrogation will take place in the future. Meanwhile, Fedez’s lawyers, Andrea Pietrolucci and Gabriele Minniti, denied that their client had received a subpoena from the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office regarding the investigation into Milan and Inter fans. Furthermore, the two defenders “invite anyone not to spread false news about Mr. Federico Leonardo Lúcia, known as Fedez.” Fedez was involved as a suspect in a case related to a fight that occurred in April at a Milan nightclub, The Club. After the fight, there was a beating against personal trainer Cristiano Iovino, an attack in which some Milan ultras allegedly took part. Due to the strange coincidence, an investigation began based on the hypothesis that the assault was actually a punitive expedition against Iovino precisely because of the fight. A security guard reported that Fedez, in a moment of agitation, had declared: “Leave me alone, I’m going to kill you, I’m from Rozzano”. A few hours later, Iovino was the victim of an attack that, according to the Public Ministry, could be a punitive expedition linked to the fight with Fedez. Investigators have a video that shows the rapper attacking the personal trainer, and some witnesses confirmed their recognition of him. Fedez is currently under investigation for injuries and fighting. However, these charges may be dropped if an agreement between the parties is confirmed: Iovino, in fact, would have renounced filing charges against the singer. The beating immediately aroused suspicion among authorities, as Iovino, after the beating, was not robbed of anything, suggesting that he was targeted for other reasons. Continuing investigations, police discovered that on the same night as the nightclub fight, Iovino had a heated confrontation with Fedez, which could have triggered the subsequent violence.
