United Way of Nevada County Announces 11th Annual Project Warmth Collection Drive | News

United Way of Nevada County’s annual drive to collect warm coats, hats, gloves and socks for those in our community who need them most has begun. Donate these much-needed items so others in our community can stay warm this winter. Most of those in need are families with children who are just struggling to survive. This collection campaign will help these families and individuals stay warm during the upcoming winter months.

From now until December 9th, new and gently used warm coats, hats, gloves and socks can be dropped off at the following locations: B&C Ace Home and Garden Center, Brighton Greens Resource Center (WIC), Century 21 Cornerstone Realty, Coldwell Banker Grass Roots Realty, Eric Rood Center, Grass Valley Training Zone, Hills Flat Lumber, KNCO, Law Office of Beau Mayfield, Myers Investment Group, Nevada County Corp. Penn Valley, Penn Valley Wastewater Plant, Penn Valley True Value Hardware, Sierra Nevada Children’s Services, South Yuba Club, SPD Market (Grass Valley and Nevada City locations), Telestream, Tri-Counties Bank (Grass Valley and Nevada City locations) , and Westamerica Bank (Penn Valley).
