It’s a time of change at Anfield and Mohamed Salah has decided to make it a big one too by removing his trademark afro.

Jurgen Klopp’s unforgettable nine-year tenure has come to an end with the German making way for new manager Arne Slot.

Salah spent seven of those years with Klopp, becoming one of the best players in the world under his watch.

And he ushered in a new era by adopting a new look and shaving off his trademark afro.

Salah and his Liverpool teammates are on vacation and no vacation post this summer should shock Reds fans more than Salah’s on Friday.

Mohamed Salah took to social media to show off his new look while on vacation

The Egyptian took to Instagram to share a photo of himself posing in front of a mirror in what appears to be a hotel room and added the sweaty emoji.

And despite the darkness, fans were quick to notice the drastic change in his appearance.

The post garnered over 300,000 likes in an hour with thousands of haircut-related comments.

Speculation is growing over the Egyptian’s future at the Merseyside club, with Salah’s contract at Anfield set to expire in 2025.

Salah’s signature afro helped make him one of the most recognizable players in the world

The 31-year-old, who had been linked to a massive money transfer to Saudi Arabia, was targeted last summer.

Despite this, Salah gave a major hint on his social media earlier this month that he could stay at the club.

Salah said: “We know it’s the trophies that matter and we will do everything we can to make that happen next season. Our fans deserve it and we will fight like hell.
