The real star of Silent Hill 2 is now a coin-saving collectible

Silent Hill 2 is appreciated for a lot reasons, but if you need a reason to preach the gospel of survival and horror, the adorable “dog ending” of the 2001 game will definitely get some people interested in playing it. And now you can even save money with this weird moment, thanks to this new collectible.

Available for pre-order from Sideshow Collectibles, the Silent Hill 2 Inu (Dog) End Coin Bank recaptures the energy of this surprising conclusion in fine art. And tax liability form. The diorama statue represents the true mastermind of Silent Hill 2, a Shiba Inu dog named Mira, behind the controls of the machines that put protagonist James Sunderland through hell.

Finally, it's Mira's chance to shine.

You’d think Sunderland would be angry at being subjected to so much torment, but how can you stay angry when you’re dealing with a dog who’s genuinely happy to see you?

While there are beautiful details on Mira, the console is also an authentic recreation of the machine the dog used to trigger the events. It’s full of nods to the game and can easily store a lot of currency inside. Priced at $230, it is expected to launch no later than January 2025.

The highly anticipated Silent Hill 2 remake arrives October 6 and is developed by Bloober Team. The studio has made several horror games in the past – Layers of Fear, The Medium and Blair Witch – and is made in Unreal Engine 5. Silent Hill 2 pre-orders are also available, just in case you want to see if Mira returns to sow chaos.
