The founder and CEO of Sonoma County’s homeless services provider billed the county for five hours of work while she attended a Denver Broncos game. This is according to a report from the Press Democrat, citing a photo that Michelle Patino, CEO of DEMA Consulting and Management, posted on Facebook on November 20, 2022. The game began at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. But, on her federally required time sheet, Patino said that between ten a.m. and three p.m., she worked as the director of nursing for a homeless shelter site at the county fairgrounds from Sonoma. It cost taxpayers $375.
