Caitlin Clark breaks silence on Olympic basketball snobbery

Caitlin Clark» responds to the snub heard around the world… by bluntly saying she missed the Olympics after she was shockingly left off the list.

The first-round pick addressed all of Sunday’s hubbub … and she says she’s totally on board with the pick — expressing enthusiasm for the players who made the team.

Clark said, in part, “I know this is the most competitive team in the world and I know it could have gone either way, whether I was on the team or I don’t be on the team. I’m excited for them, it’s going to be rooting for them to win gold.”

CC adds that the Olympic team is a long term goal…so it looks like she’s aiming for 2028 here in LA.

While Clark takes the news in stride, his fans are still not happy about her exclusion… as we told you, tons of her supporters online criticized the team for leaving Cait out.

However, other women’s basketball fans noted that the team was made up of stars like A’Ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu, And Brittney Griner …so even a generational talent like Clark wasn’t a must-have.

BTW…Clark may be singing “Kumbaya” publicly, but Indiana Fever head coach Christie sides tells a slightly different story – saying the American team “awakened a monster” by overtaking her.
