Meet Villa and Trapper! News 19: Adoptable animals of the week

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) – All across the Tennessee Valley, animals of all kinds are looking for their forever homes and this week News 19 brings you two animals looking for that perfect fit, Villa and Trapper.

First of all, it’s the Villa! She is an FIV+/FELV+ cat currently living with the Greater Huntsville Human Society (GHHS).

People at the shelter said Villa was very friendly and playful, with a love of attention and a great purr. They said she could be a little bossy and would probably do better as an only child.

GHHS said Villa loves being the queen of her castle, but she’s a one-year-old with a lot of personality.

Next up is Trapper, which News 19 is featuring for the second time after first featuring him in December. GHHS said this average-sized boy is still looking for a home.

People at the shelter said Trapper loved going for walks, playing with toys and receiving treats. They said he played well with other dogs his size and could match his energy.

GHHS said Trapper can be a little hesitant around new people, but once he gets used to you, he’s really nice. The shelter said he just needed someone who would give him time to come out of his shell. They also said they thought he would do better in a home without cats or young children.

For more information or to adopt Trapper or Villa, you can visit the Greater Huntsville Humane Society here.
