New party bar brings DVD-inspired food discos and cocktails to London

A new party bar has arrived in London, promising food discos and a healthy dose of food envy.

The Little Door & Co, known for its laid-back, house party vibe at venues across the city, has opened The Little Violet Door in the center of Carnaby.

The new spot offers a relaxed and warm atmosphere, perfect for dancing in the living room or playing games with friends.

It follows the success of siblings like The Little Scarlet Door in Soho, The Little Yellow Door in Notting Hill, The Little Blue Door in Fulham and The Little Orange Door in Clapham.

Located on the former site of Bag O’Nails, a legendary concert venue frequented by music greats like Elton John and Paul McCartney, The Little Violet Door invites guests to relax on plush velvet furniture in a two-story apartment designed after the intoxicating spirit. of Carnaby heritage.

The heart of the house’s party bar is the kitchen, where DJs will play music from a renovated turntable kitchen island and guests will find a dress-up box complete with accessories.

Other bedrooms include a downstairs games room and a bathroom ideal for secrets and selfies.

Guests can expect the house party experience at Little Violet Door to be unique.

From teacups to milk bottles to cans, cocktails inspired by the apartment’s DVD collection will be served among the household essentials.

The creative drinks menu includes La La Land and Kill Bill Volume 2 cocktails, which will be served with classic party favorites, from olives and dips to panko fried chicken and tacos.

In addition to the nightly festivities, The Little Violet Door is set to launch a never-ending weekend brunch in July.

Brunch offerings will include bagels, avocado toast and granola smoothie bowls, among others.

Those who wish to organize their own party can also rent the entire apartment and its various rooms for a memorable party, without the cleaning chores.

Open seven days a week from noon to 1am – or 11pm on Sundays – The Little Violet Door is a chic update to the traditional house party.
