Mom caught off guard by toddler comes out with: “My whole heart”

Toddlers have a funny habit of saying what’s on their mind at the time, which can leave parents wondering where they heard it.

Mom Chrissy X. Warrington captured that exact moment her son said something she was completely unprepared for.

Warrington, from Slovakia, filmed herself gardening with her toddler watching from afar on his bike when he declared: “Mum, you are my person”, stopping the 30-year-old woman dead in her tracks.

“I often told him he was my favorite guy in the world, but I never used the exact phrase ‘you’re my person,'” she told News week.

In the video, which has been viewed nearly 85,000 times, Warrington is visibly taken aback by her toddler’s statement, as she stops what she is doing and walks over to kiss him.

“It was a very random thing from him while I was gardening, but we often express our love for each other while doing regular things, so I guess it was one of those moments” , Warrington said.

Warrington explained his reaction in the caption, which read: “I don’t know where he got it from, but this boy has my whole heart. And he knows it. Moments like these are so special – and managing to make them capturing cinema allows me to relive them again and again.”

Viewers’ comments on TikTok reflected Warrington’s love for her son.

One user wrote: “It’s when kids tell you the sweetest thing out of nowhere that makes a mom melt.”

Others shared times when their children said something that caught them off guard.
