State Parks Offer Tennessee Students Opportunity to Earn Volunteer Hours

This Saturday, June 22, Tennessee State Parks will host professional events at 33 parks across the state this month to allow Tennessee Promise students to complete their community service hours.

Old Stone Fort State Park in Manchester will host its cleanup day.

Details can be found online at tnstateparks.com. All participants must register on the website. The parks also accept help from any other volunteers who wish to participate.

Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate clothing and bring items such as water, snacks and sunscreen.
